Dan Zimmerman
Dan serves primarily as Senior Creative Director but is involved in all other aspects of the company. Dan is a 30+ year veteran of advertising and marketing. Previous to TagTeam, Dan was president of DLZ Associates. His company provided advertising, marketing, business planning, public relations, and media placement for several regional and national accounts. Prior to that, from 1992 through 2000, he served as VP Marketing and Advertising for Automotive Technologies, Inc., the parent of The Car Phone Store and Wireless Zone. He is the former CEO of Bridge Communications, a full-service advertising agency in Hartford. Dan currently resides in Newington, Connecticut with his wife.
James Gomes
James focuses on Account Services and New Business Strategies as well as serving as Radio Media Director. James is a 20+ year veteran of the media, broadcasting and marketing business. A 1988 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, James started his career at WTIC-TV Fox 61 in the production and news department. He was later promoted to Film Director. James started his sales and marketing career in 1992 for Multi-market Communications, now CBS Radio. He has worked as an Account Executive, Director of Non-traditional Revenue and was General Sales Manager of three CBS radio stations (WZMX-FM, WTIC-FM and WRCH-FM). He has excelled in varied responsibilities for a wide array of account categories. James currently resides in Cheshire, Connecticut with his wife and three children.
Mark Zurzola
Mark serves primarily as Account Services, New Business Development and TV Media Director. Mark is a 20+ year veteran of the TV business that started while in college at Eastern Connecticut State University producing long form video’s. After graduation in 1988, Mark spent 10 years in various production positions for WTIC-TV, WFSB-TV and ESPN. In 1998 Mark began his sales and marketing career and spent 5 years as an Account Executive helping many local businesses develop and execute successful marketing campaigns. In 2003 Mark was promoted to Sales Manager for WSHM-TV and was instrumental in the success of this start-up CBS affiliate in Springfield, Mass. Prior to forming TagTeam, Mark held the position of Local Sales Manager for WFSB-TV in Hartford/New Haven, Connecticut. Mark resides in Wethersfield, Connecticut with his wife and two children.
